In addition to the Marathon and Sprint racing that is practised at Wimborne, the Club runs it’s own much celebrated Harbour Race every year, subject to the weather!

This fantastic event usually draws over 100 paddlers from across the country and from our twinned friends CKMNC from Cherbourg.

Poole Harbour Race

The Harbour Race is a timed event with entries split by craft type and run over 15, 8 and 4 mile courses. Whilst the race has been absent for the last few years, we look forward to being able to run the event every year going forward!

The next race is held annually in September. We look forward to welcoming racers new and old to Lake Pier! The format of the races will be the same as previous years, with craft being split into competitive classes and the races being run across the 15, 8 and 4 mile courses.
